Marty Gupta
is
Managing Director of the CAP
Consulting Group, a position he has
held since 2003. Prior to this,
Marty was Vice President and General
Manager of TeraText Solutions, a
Division of SAIC, and a leading
provider of high performance XML
databases to the federal
government. He has over 20 years of
experience with
PricewaterhouseCoopers, BellSouth,
AT&T and Xerox, and has extensive
experience in developing new
products and businesses.
David
Dunham, Senior Partner, began
his consulting career in marketing
and new product development. He
founded his own firm in the mid
1980’s and in the early 1990’s
developed the process of Critical
Assumption Planningsm
(CAP) to help organizations manage
the risks inherent in innovation and
new business commercialization. CAP
has since been introduced to
companies in the U.S., Europe and
Australia. David has written
articles on CAP for such
publications as the Journal of
Business Venturing (co-authored
with Ben Sykes), Visions
magazine (Product Development and
Management Association – PDMA) and
The PDMA Toolbook for New Product
Development (see chapter
entitled "Risk Management: The
Program Manager's Perspective").
Sean Fitzpatrick,
Director of Consulting Services -
US, has over 25 years of experience
in sales, marketing, product
development and business
transformation with AT&T, IBM,
Nortel, SAIC and Verizon.
Prior to joining CAP Consulting,
Sean was instrumental in driving the
successful transformation of Verizon
Business's sales force to a
consultative sales model.
In
his career
Sean has successfully
leveraged the Critical Assumption
Planning approach to deliver over 43
new products, valued at over
$1billion,
including the successful launch of
the key services in ATT's $250 million
emerging network services portfolio.
Andrew Grill, Director Consulting Services -
EMEA, is a General Manager
and senior executive with over 20
years experience in the areas or
telecommunication, mobile,
advertising and online services.
Andrew has
worked directly with leading mobile
operators such as Vodafone, O2
Telefonica, Orange and T-Mobile in
the UK, Europe, Australia and New
Zealand. He has also
held senior positions with market
leader Telstra. While at Optus
he was instrumental in launching CAP
into the business, and also became a
leading CAP practitioner, using the
process to guide executive decisions
around multi-million dollar
projects. In 2000 he
successfully launched Australia’s
largest commercial property website.
Dr.
Hal Tenoso,
Executive Consultant, is a senior
executive with over 25 years
experience in the medical device,
pharmaceutical and biologics area.
Dr. Tenoso was CEO of Serologicals a
leading provider of blood products,
a Company he took public in 1995.
Before that he was CEO of UNIMED, a
pharmaceutical company specializing
in cancer related products where he
completed their first public
offering. Prior to UNIMED he was
General Manager, Organon Diagnostics
a company specializing in
immunodiagnostic products. He
received a BA in Microbiology and
Ph.D. in Immunology and Genetics
from the University of California at
Los Angeles.
